Meshcon and OpenTechSummit bring together thought leaders from the open source software, design, and maker community. The event presents projects that change our world, incite scientists, create new art forms and enable new businesses. At the event speakers share about open technologies that improve the way people work, learn and do business with a focus on sustainability.

Topics range from cloud and containers, Artificial Intelligence, and making and hacking. We are looking forward to the meshing of ideas, technologies and sectors to inspire new projects and product developments, scientific findings, and forms of artistic expressions that help to solve the problems of our time as described in the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

On the first day software developers, researchers, practitioners from makerspaces, and open hardware enthusiasts will have their say in presentations and panels at bUM in Berlin Neukölln. On the second day we are at xHain. There will be workshops for participants from young to old to get hands-on experience. In addition to developer meetings, here users also have the opportunity to intensively exchange ideas with project developers.
